The Greater Louisville Medical Society was established in 1892 by physicians in Louisville who sought to unite with their colleagues on a local level. The society has a rich tradition of promoting the science, art and profession of medicine, protecting the physician-patient relationship, and advocating for the health and well-being of the community.
