Local Mission & Volunteer Opportunities

Dr. Erica Sutton

Surgery On Sunday
We have now served over 100 patients and increased our free-surgery Sundays to 6 events in 2015. We are always looking for volunteer physicians.

Dr. Mary Lou Reichert

Mercy Medical Clinic -Shelbyville
Any specialists willing to give a few hours every month, or every other month, would be welcomed. We also need more dentists to care for our patients.

Natalie Harris

Coalition For The Homeless

To help end the plight of homeless veterans in our community:

– hire a veteran so they can afford their own apartment
– rent an apartment to a veteran with a voucher
– visit www.louhomeless.org for other ways to help

Becky Montague

Family Community Clinic
We now serve local residents’ healthcare needs 4 nights each week and on Saturday mornings. In 2016 we will extend Tuesdays hours by four- and we need to recruit 18 medical providers and nurses willing to volunteer one 4 hour session every 4-6 weeks.

Dr. Charlotte Stites
